For anglers, waters teem with offshore billfish and tuna in the winter, bridge-hugging tarpon in the spring and dolphin fish in the summer.
The family can swim with dolphins at the Dolphin Research Center, feed stingrays at Aquarium Encounters, pet sea turtles at the Turtle Hospital, get back to nature at Crane Point Hammock and Curry Hammock State Park or go back in time at historic Pigeon Key Island.
